*If you passed your test more than a year ago you may need to check with the insurer first to see if you would make any savings.
What does it involve?
The course consists of six modules:
- in town
- in all weathers
- on rural roads
- at night
- on dual carriageways
- on motorways
The minimum time it will take is 6 hours but may be a little longer if necessary.
Training will be mostly practical but in some circumstances it may have to be theory (motorways and all weather driving)
There is no test at the end as you will be assessed during each module.
Once you have completed the course you will be given a certificate which you can use to claim a discount on your insurance.
How much will it cost?
The course will cost £19 per hour. This is the same price per hour even if you take a little longer than the minimum 6 hours.
